13.01.2005, From 1 February 2005, the Edipresse Group's General Management will be reorganised.
Tibère Adler, currently General Manager of Edipresse’s Swiss subsidiary, is appointed Chief Executive Officer for the entire Edipresse Group. In this role, he will be responsible for all Edipresse’s operations in Switzerland and abroad. In parallel with his CEO role, he will remain at the head of Edipresse Switzerland’s general management.
Christopher Bolton continues in his role as Chief Financial Officer of the Group.
Jean-Claude Marchand, having reached the end of his contract, is leaving Edipresse’s General Management team. He will continue however to work on specific missions for the Group, notably in the financial services area (Infotec SA) and will contribute to Edipresse’s international development, particularly in Asia. He will remain a member of the Board of Directors of certain subsidiaries.
Edipresse, Switzerland’s second largest press group, is present in nine countries and publishes 128 titles. In Switzerland, the Group is mainly active in daily newspaper publishing (24 heures, Tribune de Genève, Le Matin, Le Temps). Outside Switzerland, Edipresse is active in magazine publishing, with significant market share in the various countries where it operates (Spain, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Mexico).
