Sunrise customers in Fribourg can thus benefit from bandwidths of up to 100 Mbit/s for data uploads and downloads. Thanks to the high upload speed, Sunrise customers can upload their data (e.g. HD movies, photographs, music or online backups) to the Internet in no time.
Sunrise Home is a flexible offer for landline, Internet and TV services. Fabrice Allegro, Executive Director Marketing of Sunrise, says: “Sunrise Home enables our customers to compile a custom package comprising landline calling, Internet and digital TV. Thus, the customers pay only for what they really need.”
Sunrise TV presents a genuine alternative to the existing offer
In the field of television services, Sunrise TV on the Fribourg fibre optic network presents a genuine alternative to the existing offer. Sunrise TV contains numerous innovations that make TV a new experience. For example, this includes the seven-day replay function and a wide variety of channels with more than 270 TV stations (including more than 80 in HD) and over 110 radio stations.
In Fribourg, Sunrise makes use of the fibre optic network access of ftth fr AG, a joint venture of Groupe E, Gruyère Energie, IB-Murten and the Canton of Fribourg. ftth fr AG is working on the development of a fibre optic network in the entire territory of the Canton of Fribourg. Within the scope of the project, more than 90% of the private households and 100% of the enterprises are to be connected to the fast data network by 2028.
