08.10.2009, Giochi Preziosi Germany GmbH has awarded Panalpina Nuremberg with its supply chain management business in Germany including customer order management, 1000 TEU’s of ocean freight from Asia to Germany per year, warehousing, and business-to-business distribution of roughly 10,000 shipments per year to Giochi Preziosi customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Giochi Preziosi‘s core business is the development, marketing and distribution of toys under its own brands. In Italy the group has a direct presence in the retail sector through Toy Center, the first toy retailer with more than 90 stores around Italy. The group holds licenses for the merchandising goods of successful movie themes like Wall E and Terminator and also for famous cartoon characters like «Disney Fairies», «Shaun the Sheep», and «Winnie the Pooh».
