Klaus-Peter Voigt is to be the new Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) at the Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH

From 1989 to 2008 Voigt occupied a variety of management positions at the Media-Saturn Group, most recently as Vice Chairman and COO of the management board at Media-Saturn- Holding GmbH. As CPO, Klaus-Peter Voigt will be responsible for the Europe-wide, cross-company strategic procurement for the Media-Saturn organisation. In this function, he will report to Horst Norberg, CEO at Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH.

As a specialist in wholesale and foreign trade, Klaus-Peter Voigt has a record of professional experience in the electrical specialised trade stretching back over 25 years. In 2008 he transferred from the Media-Saturn Group to TELEFUNKEN SE as a co-partner and executive board member, a position he occupied until 2011 when he became CEO. Since 2012 he is also CEO of TELEFUNKEN Licht AG. Voigt has been working for the Media-Saturn Group since 1989 in a variety of leading management positions, amongst others, in procurement, and as managing director in the board of the German subsidiary of Media Markt. Since 2002 he has been a member of the management board at Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH. Voigt began his professional career as a manager responsible for purchasing at Munich-based electrical wholesaler J. Fröschl.
