Elma acquires part of the Electronic Cabinet activities of Mayville Products Corporation

March 02, 2012, The Elma Group purchases part of the cabinet activities of Mayville Products Corporation as of February 29, 2012. The acquisition covers selected product families with all accompanying technical documentations, existing current assets and current customer base.
With this acquisition (asset deal) Elma expands the range of enclosure solutions, in particular for applications in the segments of data communication and broadcasting in North America. The acquisition will also include the brand names APW Mayville, Stantron, Pioneer and Frontier. Mayville Products Corporation has recently announced that they are selling all their activities and cease operations soon. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
As a solution-oriented company, Elma «Your Solution Partner» develops and manufactures innovative and customized electronic components and system solutions. The broadening of the product range of electronic cabinets allows Elma to expand its market position in both standard and customized solutions in the electronic packaging market.
