Dr. Monika Krüsi Schädle nominated for election to Burckhardt Compression’s Board of Directors

Heinz Bachmann, a director on the board of Burckhardt Compression Holding since 2002, will not be standing for re-election at the upcoming annual general meeting for reasons of age. The Board of Directors is therefore proposing the election of Dr. Krüsi as his successor.

Dr. Krüsi has been a partner at MKP Consulting AG since 2003 and worked in consulting prior to that as well. Her main areas of expertise are business strategy, process management and innovation (KTI/CTI). In addition to her professional activities, Dr. Krüsi serves on the boards of EMCH AG (construction industry) in Winterthur and ACP (chip design) in Zollikon. She is also a member of the Supervisory of Technopark Luzern.

Dr. Krüsi holds a master degree in Business Administration (lic. oec. publ.) from the University of Zurich and earned a doctorate in Business Informatics/Information Systems (Dr. inform.) from the same university with a thesis on business process reengineering. She is married and the mother of two children and lives in Zollikon.

By nominating Dr. Krüsi for election to the board, the Board of Directors of Burckhardt Compression is seeking to enhance its competencies in the areas of strategic development and implementation, innovation, growth, and process management.

The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Heinz Bachmann for his ten years of service as a director. Mr. Bachmann has accompanied the company since the management buyout in 2002 and contributed to its successful development in many ways. Burckhardt Compression will formally bid farewell to Mr. Bachmann at the annual general meeting on June 29, 2012.
