October 14, 2008, With the appointment of Cornelia Gehrig-Nell as new Chief Financial Officer, the Group Management Team of Precious Woods Holding Ltd. will again be complete by February 2009. Until she assumes her position CEO Andreas Heusler will continue to handle the responsibilities of a CFO on an ad interim basis.
The Management of Precious Woods will be strengthened by a highly skilled financial expert. The 42 year old business economist Cornelia Gehrig-Nell possesses broad knowledge in all financial aspects within medium sized and strongly export orientated industrial companies. At the same, time she is familiar with capital markets, the Swiss Exchange (SWX) and also acquainted with auditing. Due to her professional exposure and experience especially within midsize companies, Cornelia Gehrig-Nell is best qualified and the ideal candidate to assume the CFO Position of the Precious Woods Group.
Cornelia Gehrig-Nell looks back on a successful 15-year career in the financial area. She has experience as Senior Manager in the Audit Services of the renowned auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as Head of Group Treasury and Controlling at the Swiss Technology Group Mikron. Furthermore, she was in charge of the preparation of the IPO of Cablecom Ltd. In her current position as CFO and Member of the Group Management of Swiss Ionbond Ltd. she contributed first hand towards the lasting improvement of the group’s financial situation.
