October 31, 2012, Between the middle and end of 2013, Martin Pfisterer will hand over his Group management function as Head of Communications and Marketing at BKW Inc. due to retirement. He will continue to perform specific mandates. The exact date of his retirement will be defined as part of the successor plans now being implemented.
After giving up his Group management functions, Martin Pfisterer - who for the past 25 years has been responsible for building up BKW's new renewable energies business - will continue to perform various mandates in this area. Following his departure from the Group Executive Board he will retain his office as Chairman of sol-E Suisse AG, JUVENT SA, Holzwärme Grindelwald AG and Société Mont-Soleil and as Vice Chairman of Energie du Jura SA. In future he will also represent BKW in certain regions and contribute his know-how and experience to specific Group projects.
