Time Reading time: 2 minutes

February 21, 2013, Hapimag, the Swiss company offering rights of residence, continues to extend its offer in big cities and has purchased a property in Hamburg for a new city residence. From 2015, another top destination will be available to members with around 40 apartments for their individual use.

The building, with its traditional brick façade, is located in the centre of Hamburg on Steinstrasse 12–14, in the direct vicinity of Mönckebergstrasse, Hamburg's most famous shopping street. The old town, with its many shopping facilities, attractions, restaurants and cafés, can be easily reached on foot in just a few minutes. The nearest underground station is only 150 m away, and it is about 600 m to the main station. "Like all the other Hapimag city residences, the property in Hamburg is in a very central location. Our members will really appreciate this privilege," explains André Raeber, Chief Real Estate Officer at Hapimag. "A city trip to Hamburg will also be ideal for combination with a stay in the Hapimag resorts on Sylt or in Binz on Rügen," Raeber continued.

Hamburg is already the 14th city residence in the Hapimag portfolio. The building application will be submitted soon, and the building licence should be issued in the course of 2013. It is planned to start the conversion work next year. The opening is scheduled for 2015.

Residences at attractive locations
The new residence in the old town of Salzburg opened just recently, in December 2012. The building application for the new city residence in Lisbon has been submitted, and the building licence is expected to be granted in the first quarter of 2013. All the Hapimag city residences are centrally located, for example London by Hyde Park, Prague on Wenceslas Square, Paris between the Louvre and the Centre Pompidou and Dresden opposite the Frauenkirche.
